 Dream Catchers
Produced by Institute on Disability, UNH

|
| Using the Dream Catcher as their metaphor, this short and inspiring film gets at the essence of helping people recapture their lost dreams and starting to build Circles of Friends/Support. The film is a series of beautiful images, personal stories and hope for the future. Three young adults, Matt, Angie and Lisa, plan and dream for the future with their families and circles. Lisa, whose voice is heard through facilitated communication, is particularly moving as she talks about how important her circle is for her life. An inspiring and useful video for those working with teenagers and adults.
Audience Educators, human service workers, families. Most useful for people working with teens and adult populations. A good transition tool.
